Dream India Travel – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Dream India Travel. By using our website and booking our services, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking or inquiry. These Terms and Conditions are intended to ensure clarity between our valued guests and Dream India Travel.


1. General Terms of Use

  • By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, which, along with our Privacy Policy, govern your relationship with Dream India Travel.
  • The content of this website is for your general information only. It may be updated or changed without notice.
  • Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information and materials provided on this website.
  • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.
  • Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.

2. Booking and Payments

  • To confirm a booking, a minimum of 25% advance payment of the total package cost is required.
  • Full payment must be made at least 15 days before the travel or check-in date.
  • For instant or last-minute bookings, 100% payment is required at the time of booking.
  • No cheques are accepted. Payments can be made through bank transfer, UPI, or authorized payment gateway.
  • All bookings are processed only after payment confirmation. Failure to make timely payments may result in automatic cancellation without any refund.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

If a client wishes to cancel or modify their booking, Dream India Travel’s cancellation charges will apply as per the following terms:

  • All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email.
  • Within 72 hours of booking – cancellation requests may be considered if hotels/transporters have not been booked.
  • No cancellations are allowed for same-day bookings or special occasion offers (Diwali, Christmas, New Year, Valentine’s Day, etc.).
  • Dream India Travel acts only as a booking agent for hotels, vehicles, and other service providers. The company is not responsible for service quality or failure by third-party vendors.
  • The company shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Luggage is carried strictly at the owner’s risk.

Refund Policy:

  • 60+ days before travel: 80% refund
  • 59–40 days before travel: 50% refund
  • 39–25 days before travel: 25% refund
  • 24–15 days before travel: 15% refund
  • Less than 15 days: No refund

No refund will be issued for cancellations due to mechanical failures, natural disasters, or other unforeseen conditions beyond our control (e.g., landslides, floods, heavy snowfall, strikes, etc.).


4. Reservation & Postponement Policy

  • 50% payment is required at the time of reservation.
  • Postponing or preponing of travel dates must be informed in writing at least 15 days before the travel date.
  • An additional 20% charge of the total package cost will be applied for rescheduling.
  • All hotel cancellations are subject to individual hotel policies (FIT & GIT bookings).

5. Accommodation & Transport

  • Hotel accommodations are provided on a twin-sharing basis. Single occupancy will incur additional charges.
  • Guests must adhere to hotel check-in/check-out timings.
  • Any damage caused by the guest during the stay or journey will be chargeable to the guest.
  • Vehicles are provided as per booking priority and subject to availability. Each transporter follows independent rules and regulations.

6. Meals

Meals are served as per the fixed menu mentioned in the tour plan. If a guest misses any meal due to late arrival or personal reasons, no refund or alternative will be provided. In special situations, meal arrangements may be modified due to unavoidable circumstances.


7. Itinerary & Service Changes

  • Dream India Travel reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to natural calamities, weather conditions, local issues, or other unavoidable circumstances.
  • Any additional costs arising from such changes shall be borne by the guest.
  • Guests must continue the program as revised by the company.

8. Safety, Health & Insurance

  • Guests are solely responsible for their personal safety, belongings, and health conditions.
  • Participation in adventure activities (trekking, rafting, paragliding, etc.) is at the traveler’s own risk.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover accidents, illness, or loss of property.
  • Guests must inform the company of any medical conditions that may affect participation. The company reserves the right to refuse participation in certain activities with no refund.

9. Travel Documents

  • Guests must ensure they carry all required travel documents including passport, visa, ID proofs, tickets, and insurance papers.
  • Dream India Travel will not be held responsible for denied entries or losses due to missing documentation.
  • Documents are non-transferable and cannot be replaced by the company in case of loss.

10. Privacy & Data Policy

  • All personal information shared with Dream India Travel is treated as confidential.
  • Information may be disclosed only when required by law or government authorities.
  • We reserve the right to use photographs taken during trips for promotional purposes on our website or social media platforms.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Dream India Travel acts as a facilitator between travelers and service providers (hotels, transporters, guides, etc.).
  • The company is not responsible for service failures, delays, or damages caused by third-party vendors.
  • In no event shall Dream India Travel be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Jurisdiction

All disputes related to tours, bookings, or services offered by Dream India Travel shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India.


13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any service with Dream India Travel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. In case one person signs or accepts terms on behalf of others, it is assumed that they are authorized to do so on behalf of all travelers in the group.
